Admission procedure
Safe Care Trust International is an independent service provider for mental health treatment and associated care. At SCTI, a patient is admitted on the advice of the concerned consultants, who suggest the treatment plan.

Step by step
How admission works.
- Contact us. Either the patient or a relative contacts the front office or reception desk.
- Get complete information. SCTI professionals give you complete information about the treatment procedure.
- Admission file and consent. An admission file is completed with the patient’s details, and a consent form is signed for the treatment that will be provided.
- Deposit. A deposit is paid at the counter.
- Settling in. Once the registration formalities are complete, the patient is escorted to the room or ward. No family member is allowed to accompany the patient.
Family meetings follow a set schedule: the first meeting is allowed after 28 days, and after that family members can meet the patient every 15 days. See the FAQs for more.
Accommodation
A choice of rooms.
To make treatment more comfortable and pleasant, SCTI offers a choice of accommodation. After the doctor’s advice, the patient is introduced to the facilities and may choose from:
Executive Room
Economical Room
Semi-Private Ward
General Ward
Length of stay
How long does rehab take?
First, the patient is admitted to the program and given an assessment. This may be one of the most important steps of treatment: the SCTI staff take down the patient’s medical history and assess their personality as well as the nature of the addiction, and help determine how much time may be needed in treatment.
Rehab is about more than overcoming a physical addiction to a substance. It is necessary to eliminate the addictive substance from the body, and it is also necessary to work on the psychological side of addiction. The right length of stay differs from person to person, but studies have shown that a longer stay in rehab can be more successful than a shorter one.
Rehab programs of 90 days or longer are beneficial for several reasons. People need time to cleanse their bodies of the addictive substance the right way, and SCTI may take a gradual approach, reducing the amount of the substance until the patient stops completely. During detoxification, the patient is monitored to make sure he remains medically sound and is not in any danger.
A longer program also gives patients the chance to work on the root causes of their addiction. To overcome an addiction, a patient must understand why he became dependent on a particular drug. At SCTI, patients work with trained professionals on a regular basis to find the most effective ways to understand and cope with their addiction. Read about the 90-day program.
