90-day drug & alcohol rehab program

Our 90-day treatment and rehabilitation program is the cornerstone of lasting sobriety. It is divided into three 30-day stages, each with its own topics, protocols and goals, followed by structured aftercare.

Three stages

From the first day to a new life.

Each stage builds on the one before it. First the patient is assessed and stabilised, then works on the causes of addiction and on relapse triggers, and finally prepares for a responsible, sober life at home.

Day 1Day 30Day 60Day 90
  1. 01

    Stage 1 · Days 1 to 30

    Assessment and stabilisation

The first 30 days begin with a complete assessment and a stabilisation period. The clinical team sets a formal Individualised Treatment Plan for each client and identifies the core issues behind the addiction, along with anything that could block a lasting recovery.

    • Medical assessment
    • Stabilisation
    • Individualised plan
  2. 02

    Stage 2 · Days 31 to 60

    Therapy and relapse prevention

Group therapy runs alongside generous individual sessions with a licensed therapist. Clients look closely at the behaviours and situations that could trigger a relapse, then practise positive coping strategies, with real-time support from the team.

  3. 03

    Stage 3 · Days 61 to 90

    Re-entry and responsibility

The final 30 days prepare the client for a smooth return to a sober life with personal responsibility. Clients are introduced to local 12-Step programs and community support groups, and the team completes their discharge plan.

    • Discharge planning
    • 12-Step groups
    • Life skills
  4. After discharge

    Aftercare and follow-up

A structured aftercare program is a necessary part of recovery, especially in the first two months after discharge. SCTI stays in touch with clients and their families through follow-up support.

Inside the program

What a client receives every week.

The exact mix depends on each client’s individualised treatment plan, set by the clinical team during Stage 1.

  • Individual counselling

50-minute one-to-one sessions with a licensed therapist, who also prepares the discharge plan.

  • Group therapy

1.5-hour groups of up to 12 clients on Early Recovery Skills, Relapse Prevention Skills and Social Support in Recovery.

  • Medical care

Medication and nursing care under medical officers and consultant psychiatrists.

  • Family sessions

Family visits, workshops and lectures so relatives understand the illness and the recovery process.

  • Recreation

Indoor games and recreational programs that rebuild healthy routines and social skills.

  • 12-Step groups

An introduction to the twelve-step philosophy and to local 12-Step and community support groups.

Why 90 days

Recovery needs time and structure.

Stopping drugs or alcohol is only the start. Lasting recovery means understanding why the addiction started, learning to handle triggers, and building a daily life that supports sobriety.

That is why the program moves in three steps. Stage 1 gives the body and mind time to stabilise while the team studies the core issues. Stage 2 is the main therapy phase, where clients practise coping strategies in real situations. Stage 3 focuses on responsibility, family and community support, so the client leaves with a clear plan.

After discharge, our aftercare program keeps clients connected, especially in the first two months, when support matters most.
