Message from the Chairman

Dear Sufferer,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to our new website that we hope you will find user-friendly and informative. There is no alternative to meeting face-to-face; however, we realise time pressures and the inevitable move these days to all things ‘virtual’, and we have made every effort to make our web presence communicative and meaningful.

It has been a long journey since the inception of Safe Care Trust International (SCTI). Seeing addiction in people very close to me triggered the motivation to start SCTI, providing the best treatment for addicts and people with mental vulnerabilities, who were suffering due to a dearth of addiction rehabilitation centres in Pakistan. Since then, we have never looked back.

Having seen this, I realised that there was an immediate need for a treatment centre. Starting this rehabilitation centre was not a task on my list. It is my passion: passion for recovery and helping others to help themselves.

I have witnessed thousands of alcoholics and addicts of all kinds, with and without co-occurring mental health disorders, change their lives for the better, restore their relationships and become healthy and productive members of their communities. I have also seen people die from the ravages of addiction and mental health disorders.

Addiction is a disease that engulfs the entire family and not just the addict. Hence, our treatment program includes family awareness and counselling, touching not just the lives of those in treatment but, through the ripple effect, many more.

Having understood that addiction has no boundaries, and that it can affect anyone regardless of their age, sex, education or upbringing, we aim to make quality treatment accessible for everyone. After all, what is the cost of saving a human life? The rewards gained from transforming a life of addiction into a life of recovery are immeasurable and well worth the effort.

Safe Care Trust International is establishing a new standard in the treatment industry. We do everything possible to help our members begin and support their journey of recovery for life. Please come and see for yourself or for your loved ones. You will not be disappointed.
